tips for living a creative lifestyle
Because at present there's only two of us running this show, we have to have some kind of guidelines as to how to get your stuff to us to avoid dumping something important out with the spam. Other than that, feel free to dazzle us in any way you see fit.
Let us say right up front, we can't pay you in money for anything we publish, but [hopefully] the exposure will provide enough of an ego-stroke to help lessen that blow.
We use an email form for all submittal requests. We've tried to anticipate any options in the creation of the form, but if you come up with something we haven't thought of, good for you. We promise to do our very best to get back with you as soon as possible. If we decide to use your work, we'll send you instructions on how to submit it.
To ease any misgivings you may have, we retain no rights to any work we publish and don't care where else you've submitted and/or published it.
We accept articles of interest (how-to, DIY, human interest, or anything else that might pertain to the subject matter of a creative lifestyle), fiction (no novels, please), poetry, photography, digital artwork, and mixed media (digital photos of the piece with explainations, not the actual piece).
If it sounds like something you think would fit with our subject matter, maybe we will too.
If you have a business or service that you feel would appeal to our readers, we would be happy to discuss sponsorship on our site. Email us with your particulars.
And speaking of shameless plugs, if you're an artist/writer/musician, or otherwise creative person looking for web exposure, please consider our parent company, Nytshadow Designs Web & Graphic Designs Services. We love working with creative people to give you something that will meet both your needs and your budget.
